I 've seen a post here on the BB RE: current draw at "rest" for the 850 but don't remember how much it was. I do remember that the 850 is considered high with respect to how much current flows with everything off. I would go to search and see if I could find that post. The tried and true way to track down the offending circuit(s) is to hook up you VOM as you have between the neg battery post and the neg cable end and then start pulling fuses one at a time until the current flow stops. You at least know what circuit your problem is in. Good luck
