What exactly is part called? (1/2 axle to replace CV Boot) 850 1997

not sure what a 1/2 axle is. the part you looked at is the lower control arm with bushings. that's part of the front suspension, not a cv axle.

a rebuilt right axle will have the shaft from the trans, the inner joint and the outer joint. i assume a 1/2 axle you would have to assemble. good luck. chuck.
