I went through the same thing a few years ago, even had the dealer replace the sensor! The filter in the filler neck can be removed. I can't believe there is too much to filter out of washer fulid in the first place. Glad I'm not alone in figuring out some of these problems. Always check the brickboard first!!! Jim.
