Sears sells a good battery without ripping you off. Look around for new cables at a parts supply store, IF you need new ones. There is a TSB on the cables. I am surprised that they are not covered by extended warranty. $600! I guess that is why we are on this site.
You might want to invest in a good trickle charger while at sears. They come in handy at times.
