midgrade 89 octane works just fine for my turbo. I feel no difference in performance between 89 and 91 octane.

When premium gas was over $2.25 in my neck of the woods, I was using 87 octane and the car run just as well.

So save some money and try 89 and then 87 octane and see if you feel a difference.
