I had an 850 for years and loved it, until someone ran a stop sign and totaled it two weeks ago. It was the base normally-aspirated motor, but did have some nice options like spoiler, interior upgrade, sunroof, premium sound system, etc. I use my car primarily for medium-long highway trips, so the premium sound and interior upgrade were much appreciated. I tend to put a lot of miles on a car, but do not drive hard and don't do much city driving.
Naturally, the insurance company is not giving me enough money to get another car as nice as mine. Looking at Auto Trader, etc, I am not seeing a lot of late 90's, moderate-miles, excellent condition cars in my area. But my Volvo mechanic (a very good one) has a couple of Turbo-R cars for sale.
I can afford to get one of these, I do like them, and I'm sure I would enjoy it. But it is more money that I don't really NEED to spend, and there are other fun things I could do with the same cash.
Any feedback, suggestions, opinions?
