Well this makes a boatload of sense. I knew there wasn't a hard disc involved, and it seems like an odd abbreviation for "DIagnoStiC"....

Thanks very much for the insight. I'll put the swtich out the next time its convenient and see how tricky it would be to clean the contacts.
