Please comment on possible creaking door fix 850

It is very simple to wrap some scotch tape around the tip of your finger, sticky side out, and stick the nut to it. Poke that finger thru the hole, locate the nut behind your drill hole and srcrew the bolt in. I didn't even need to capture the nut with the wrench (which I had prebent)to keep it from turning. I did this repair in less than an hour without a helper
