Often the adjuster pops off the ball(its a ball and socket set-up)and you can take out the hi beam bulb and pop it back on without taking the glass off.However if you have to take off the glass the whole headlight assy must be removed as there are also clips on the bottom of the assembly.When I have had to remove the glass I use a thin bead of black silicone to reseal the lense to the headlight assy.
