so I found a turbo 2.3 I like 850

yea .... what im hoping is .... that whoever traded in this car just got lazy after knowing they wanted to trade in . Im a pretty good backyard mech , and saw no oil sludge when I opened the cap . I didnt do the finger swip under the cover .... will do that today !!

The trans oil has me a little worried , but I have seen worse . Its not pink at all , but not black . Light brown I guess .

It shifts pretty good . I took the car and drove it like I stole it . So seeing how it help up is good i guess .

Do these 1996 2.3 T engines and Trans have some kind of " known problems " other than the normal stuff like waterpump , brakes , exh , etc ....
