Trailer Wiring for 2000 XC70 V70-XC70 2000

I need to install trailer wiring for my car (2000 XC 70). I bought a hitch and REESE module online and have received them. The REESE module seems to require some splicing, wiring etc... that is probably beyond my capability.

Is there a volvo part that "plugs in" to the car to make it easyt. I looks like there is a plug (grey box) under the floor on the left hand side in the rear of the car. Is that the right place? Where can I get the right parts?

Thanks -- I've never really done much work on cars in teh past, but the dealer wants to charge something like $800 for this. The parts cost about $300 at www.hitch-web.com and it seems like I could do this...

Any help, advice, comments are very much appreciated.
