1. I had a friend get out of the car, leaving a passenger seatbelt extended to the point where it was on the ground. Not knowing this, I got in the car and proceeded to drive away. The belt got caught under the right rear tire, tearing it in half. I have a new belt, but the instructions say I have to remove the seatback and leather upholstery to get to the belt assembly. Is there an easier way to do it or it that the only way?
2. I had the plastic part break off the oil dipstick. I have a new redesigned dipstick and tube for my car. Do I have drain the oil before removing and replacing the dipstick. Don't wanna oil mess all over the place. the '70 is running and looking great at 118,000 miles.
Thanks Brickboarders,
Ron
