I forgot one other thing,there is a special tool;pliers that have a reverse opening and are angled 90 degrees that are use to separate the cover from the head.Also if you do this be sure to release the cover evenly and NEVER stick a screwdriver between the machined surfaces.Also you have to lift the cover off straight up so you do not brake the thrust castings on the cover. Use spray on paint remover to take the old sealant off not a scraper.If you scratch it deeply now you are in deep S%$T because only new parts will stop a large leak.New parts as in a new head/cover.
