Just realized that you were talking about reloads of existing software being free when you reset and reload because of a download problem. Yep, that is true. There is a benefit to that...the car is really getting the upgraded software, not the original software, so the car should actually be a little more in-tune with the driver now...

Incidentally, on your computer, you should have under programs, VADIS User Tools where there is an entire users manual, print it out. The only other advise I can offer is revisit the web site, purchase many of the training manuals such as Volvo Automotive Networks, Electrical Switches to Networks, VADIS, and others having to do with the new systems and waste a few weekends reading and studying. When you get to the point that you are screaming at the books saying things like, "what the f were you thinking; Volvo engineers need lobadomies; what a load of crap, that's a benefit?..." walk away, breathe, do yoga, whatever, and then hit the books again.
