Power steering fluid V70-XC70

The fluid you describe sounds like the mineral oil fluid required on Audi's and such, and at $15/L it better not be "crappy". Read the ingredients; search on line for the ingredients for a quality type F. A "quality" type F is a "quality" type F. We use Valvoline Max Life, or Lucas P/S conditioner and have had no problems. I would seriously doubt that the stuff you have would cause any damage. If it's mineral oil based, it's probably better...
