I had a similar problem on my 96 850 Na glt. Check the cruise hook up at the accel. pedal and look at the vacumn lines below the battery box(if you have a
access to a lift it would help getting to vac lines) Mine was at the accel pedal and once I fixed the cable hookup it hasn't missed a beat.
