Don't forget there is also an idler pulley, part number 8630590, with just as much time and mileage on it as the tensioner, that will cause just as much catastrophic damage if it fails...

Further, some 99's had the mechanical tensioner; there was a vin split, anything prior to chassis number (last six of the vin) 1266128 had the hydraulic tensioner, and from 1266128 had the mechanical tensioner.
