Wagon Taillights fading to white 850

Seems to be very common prob, but I haven't read any real solutions short of replacement.
(I've tried several plastic cleaners).

The latest thing I tried was a slick armourall-like product that really worked, made them glossy again.
For about one day! Which is better than nothing I guess.
