Tranny fluid should be changed routinely every 30K miles, regardless what volvo says. It's common sense, and prolongs the life of the tranny, THAT SAID..

Since, you're under warranty, let the dealer fix the problem. Don't change the fluid yourself or at an indie shop. They might void the warranty if "somebody else" messed with it.
