If you look here (I'll give you the link) you will find that Syn is quite good, if you are in the lower mileage areas. I would suggest Rotella 5W40 from now on.
Just an opinion. Syn is a waste of time at this mileage. Lot's of info here. Just for your information. I have been running Rotella in my 97 turbo GLT for years.
I still change oil every 3K miles and filter. Still old thinking that works. I hve very low maint bills, just because of this philosophy, and others.
