Wheel bolt patterns V70-XC70

I didn't see any mention yet but what I have found out. The bolt pattern for 01 and up cars is a 5-108 (for the S60/ V70 as well as the S40/ V50 - but the wheels are not transferable due to the percent "offset". The earlier 850s that have 5 bolts are also a 5-108 pattern but again, may or may not accept wheels and tires from ealier 5-108 cars. The easiest way I have found to see if wheels will fit one car to another is to do a search on tirerack by vehicle and see if the same wheels show up for both cars.

ANyone care to elloborate or better explain this "offset." Thanks, Tom
