Go to a auto parts store and get a pair of LOUD ones. The OEM are too quiet.

If you search this site for glovebox lock, you are not going to like the answers. They call for using a hacksaw to cut the metal bar behind the glovebox lid. Tape up the vinyl so it doesn't get scratched!
