Trans. fault code A1 1-2-2 850 1993

posted by  someone claiming to be 850keeper1 on  Mon Apr 4 13:34 CST 2005 [RELATED]

Volvospeed says this fault is "S1 soleniod open circuit". I cleared the fault and has not come back. This tranny is a volvo factory rebuilt with 70K on it. Does this fault indicate problems to come? Is this fault serious? Help, please!! Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
