I posted the above message a few months ago.

WHATEVER it is, make sure you:

1. mark the exisitng belt camshafts and crankshaft positions with marker (white out for example) BEFORE it will make your life alot easier.

2. After new belt is in, be sure you turn the CRANKSHAFT BY HAND for 2 FULL revolutions before starting the eninge. Failure to do so can ruin your engine.

PS: NOTE that late 1998 Volvo cahnged the tensioner to mechanical...Procedure for TB is different.
