I'll tell you this much, it is easier to get stiffer steering in the 240's. Put in all of the strut tower and lower control arm braces and then go urethane on all of the bushings. I put in a full set of urethane bushings awhile back on an '82 240 that already had the IPD stabilizer bars and that sucker responded nicely to having all of the stuff changed out. On an 850 you'd have to see what is availble in the way of beefier stabilizer bars and bushings. I guess a guy could change out the lower control arm bushings for urethane if something is available, but IPD does not carry anything like that. They do have upgraded sway and stabilizer bars and the strut tower braces. That would be a good place to start for sure.
