In Dec of 2003, I had to do same... cheapest place then for parts was eEruoparts.com

BTW - you will need two new O Rings (which I got at FCP at the time along with another order)

#3545586 Heater Core O-Rings (x2) around $2 each

This seems to be a fairly common problem, so I would bite the bullet and go new on the parts. I can't remember if I followed online instructions, or Haynes, but it was pretty straight forward and simple - not too invasive.
