Roof ripples V70-XC70 2000

Ihave a t5 classic shape estate. The roof has slighty anoying ripples within it normally but in direct sunlight it buckles and distorts to the point that it looks like someone has punched it all over. When the sun has cooled it returnes to its 'normal' shape. This is not a wind up as i am quite concerned but has anyone had the same problem? Thanks!!!
