93-94 850's 850

As an owner of a 93 850 sedan, I would say they are no more full of glitches than any other year. Parts are not any more expensive than any others I have found. May require a little more looking to find, but price is comparable. 90,000 miles. orginal transmission. Daily driver since 95. Repairs are usual. New brake calipers and pads all around (Autozone) New axle shafts (Autozone). New rotors (Ebay) New fuel pump (Internet) Power seat rebuild Fuel relays, engine mount passenger side, fuel pressure regulator, new hoses this year, alternator, plus all the usual little repairs.
Car was hail damaged in 95 $4000 dentless repair. Still original paint. Hit and run driver, caught, (Thanks to witnesses) took out hood in 96. Fifth Volvo I have owned and I would have no complaints over this one compared to the others. 1966 122s, 1975 164E, 1981 242DL, 1987 245DL. 1996 Dodge Grand caravan was far worse than the 850 for repairs. 2000 Windstar is tracking to be worse than the 850 as well. Caravan tranny exploded at 80,000 $2800 repair. 2000 Windstar started leaking a month ago. looking at $2200 to rebuild that one. No, I would have to say I am happy with the 850 overall. I am sure this will stir some good comments on the board.
