Driver's door check-strap

...Or what ever it's called. My check-strap doesn't work and the door just swings out on it's own, bouncing off the end of the hinge travel. Is there a place to get just this part? And, if so, is it easy to install? I'm OK with it because I do most of the work on the car, but my wife seems to always "forget".
