94 840 Air Conditioning Temp Switch?

Hi All:

Have an anoying problem with my AC. It works great when you first start the car the first time of the day, but when you shut the car off, it won't come back on till about 12 to 16 hours later. I see the new AC units say you must bypass the temp sensor- anyone know how to do this? I think that's the problem.
