Mine does not differentiate the condition of the weather or the time of the day.

However, the symptoms are consistent. The engine cranks continuously as long as you have the key fully turned, but it doesn't fire up. Seems like it differs from yours slighty. Could yours be a battery issue? I had experienced this a few motnhs back and and in a matter of days, I was left stranded.The battery had gone flat.

In my case I think Graham and Erik were right regarding the contact. I intend to try their suggestion this weekend. In the meantime, my temporary solution by applying pressure to the key seem to be working fine.
