Throttle Body Problem?

There doesn't seem to be a pattern with respect to engagement of upper or lower gears. I certainly do not think it would be a bad idea to clean the air intake. I wonder if it could be on the fuel delivery side? Perhaps while I am at it I could change the fuel filter and add a bottle of Tekron to the gas.
