instrumentation lights 850 1995

Mine have been going on and off for months now. They seem to be staying on more than off lately...at night. But I know how awkward it feels driving at night without being able to see the panel.

I've tried moving the dimmer back and forth. I've tried moving the headlight switch a bit further. I've tried tapping things...key. I kind of think it may be the head light switch. It seems like some sort of plug is loose.

I hope someone has an answer for you...because I haven't been able to get to the bottom of it. I had it on a list of things to check the last times I've brought it in but decided that since they didn't know right away I was already spending too much on bigger things those times for them to troubleshoot any more. Neither indy really knew what to check right off.
