Thermometer reading WAY too high

KB,

My only observation is that when my car is sitting after running, heat will tend to soak from the radiator, giving a faulty high reading. I've never seen anything that high though. The sender should be down behind the bumper somewhere, perhaps you can trace a problem from there?

I hope it doesn't detract too much from your top-down driving fun!
