I hope you don't mind if I contact you directly? I've been reading the forums for info on my AC system. On all the posts for AC you seem to send replies so I'm hoping you not mind me contacting you with a question.

My AC has been running cold but after a short time it starts to blow warm air. Today I was running it and then I saw smoke coming from under my hood on the left side. I stopped the car and lifted the hood and the smoke was coming from the bottom of the belt on the left on the passengers side. A man said that the flywheel on my AC system was sticking or skipping. I thought it was the belt but he said the belt was fine. Do you know why this is happening or what I can do to fix it? If you can help me at all I would appreciate it!!! I hate to go to the mechanic without some knowledge of the problem. I feel like they try to do more work than needed when I don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks for any info you might send to me. I do appreciate it!!!
