You need to remove the side kick panels by the accelerator and on the passenger side. Also the panel under the dash, driver side. Removing and replacing the heater core is a walk in the park compared to the 2 and 7-9 series Volvo's.
Guess you could say it is under the radio, but you don't need to remove the radio. The volvospeed version is what I followed on my 94.
