Thinking about buying '00 XC V70-XC70 2000

We have a 2000 w/100K miles and are having trouble with the ABS/Traction control lights comming on intermitenly. Seems to happen most when the weather is hot. Also lately the transmission seems to "hunt" when going up a hill as if it is searching for the right gear.
