To replace or not to replace/ Tensioner & Idler rollers? 850 1995

If you are over approximately 70K mile, that should mean that the timing belt has already been replaced once. Most experienced Volvo owners would probably tell you the same thing.... replace the idler and tensioner rollers/bearings every other timing belt change. Same thing applies to the water pump. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is good, but so is "an ounce of prevention.... "
Change them, and sleep well. Good luck.
