I just boght a 2000 v70 and with gas prices, I've been through all three grades recently. I believe I found in the online manual for the '00 that it recommends 89 or medium. The engine makes some more noise at lower grade fuels, when possible I put in premium and this is the first car I've owned that really felt better. Like RedAlrt, I love the premium.
