Right rear door lock refuses to work V70-XC70 2000

I'm assuming the 2000 V70 has the same issues with door locks as the '98. If so, it's likely a red plastic tab in the lock mechanism is broken. The tab breaks when someone pulls the outside door handle on a locked door while the remote door opener is activated. The Bay 13 website has info explaining the failure mode and how to repair. I've repaired both of my rear door locks. It's a tedious procedure but can be done. Geeze, does anybody do reliability testing these days!?
