1983 Volvo 245 Turbo exhaust manifold exchange

I have a 1983 Volvo 245T and the threading for the oxygen sensor on my exhaust manifold is bad. I have the option of removing it and taking it to a muffler shop where they can re-threat it by puting a plug with the correct thread for a new oxygen sensor? Would that be a good fix? I was wondering if replacing it with a newer turbo exhaust manifold would also be an easier fix, and if so which exhaust manifolds would be interchangeable with the b21FT head? Would a b23FT exhaust manifold be a good fit? Would the turbo charger also be interchangeable? Any advise is greatly appreciated.
