| At 230,000 miles, I returned from a long business trip at midnight to a dead Volvo - it would start, but not stay running. I figured that this was "the big one", where the car had outlived the money needed to keep it running. I trudged back to the terminal, rented a Hyundai, and returned to the Volvo and completely cleaned her out for what might be her last trip to a mechanic. With a heavy heart, I took this photo with my cell phone.
Happy ending - the fuel relay was a minor fix, and she continues to drip a little oil on my driveway and is my faithful companion for another month or year or whatever... |

| This is my first volvo sorry but it is so ugly it is cute to me and i like it. Like it better when it is running at 100% ok maybe I am asking for a bit much I can say at least 98% and I will be happy. I have been in the desert for the past 9 months so no volvos for us to drive but I did get to ride this animal in a country called Qatar which I had no clue was even there. Nice look in to it. I may not know much about Volve but I am welling to learn about my 1988 240 Wagon. |
