Who taught afgans to fight and who armed them, this is not to discount their idependent spirit. Pakistan itself promoted extremism to support their fight against India. This is what they call, a low intensity warfar instead of a full fledged war. It was born out of a desire to have a separate land for muslims, is this not what the Taliban want to achieve? a society based on the book, so what is the surprise there, except that now it is biting back everbody in the rearend.
