Two M47 Manual Transmissions in Olympia, WA

Volvo 242 / 240 California Special - $4000 (Olympia, WA)

http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/5961220432.html

This guy has a 1978 242 project. He has a Turbo engine and other bits he was going to assemble together.

Now, we all know an M47 manual transmission was meant for use with the B230 normally aspired (non-turbo) 8-valve B230, B200 and like engine.

I emailed him to let him know.

The M47 was not meant for use with a Turbo charged or quattrovalve (B234) engine.

The poster wants 4k$US for the lot. Perhaps you can finagle an M47 if you need ...

Hope that helps.

M47 finder boyeeeee.

No image of either the two M47s and bits. I've seen a 1976 242 with this interior. Really cool, though.
