Correct torque for tightening K camshaft nut 140-160 1969

My book(s) say 100 ft/lbs. but that can't be right. maybe it's metric, maybe it's a conspiracy, maybe it's just a typo. Hey George, what's the right torque?

Correct torque for tightening K camshaft nut 140-160 1969

That is the correct torque -- I think the spec is 96 - 108 ft/lb.

What's conspiratorial about that?

I use 105 lb/ft + some wick-in Loctite afterwards.
