Stupid question - is your oil overfilled? Check the dipstick! If it is, you may be leaking gas into the oil due to a bad fuel pres regulator, which is an easy fix.


Head gaskets usually don't blow on all 4 cyl. If it is the gasket, replacement takes a few hours, but it's really no harder than a timing belt job. No need for a complete rebuild.
