M47 motor oil or atf S90-V90 1988

i have slightly overfilled my M47 on my 88 740 (b230ft) with 10w-30 fully synthetic motor oil (mobil) rather than ATF living in australia where temps dont rarely (sea level) enter below 10 deg cent (thats 30 deg american i think)can i get some feedback on if this is dangerous? ....my boost is fdactory (the tamper tags still hanging on) i think its up to 10psi (nearly reaching the end of the orange turbo scale). At start up it selects first and second with some gear lever bounce (syncro),when warmed first and second needs slight elbow pressure and patience to engage, and after 2 hour motorway (highway)speeds third can if rushed grind .

I would recommend you change the fluid top Volvo specs. I wouldn't want you to damage the synchros or the seals. Some oils are incompatible with some seals. Also the viscosity and shear levels are obviously different. If you wish to use synthetic use the volvo synthetic gear oil as that is what is clled for.
