Heated mirror Glass replacement 200

JD,

I've done it before. It's a little tricky as it's different than what's indicated in the Bentley's. At the bottom of the mirror there's a little slot but that is a remnant of the older style mirror. Inserting a small screwdriver in there and trying to rotate the assembly will get you no where.

In my bag of tricks, I think I have a picture of the back side of a heated mirror which should be a help. I'll just have to dig it up for you. You actually have to do some deft prying at a corner to dislodge two plastic fingers
Once you get it going, the remaining fingers are easy to pry off. For the time being if you have a JY handy, it's a good place to start trying, if you can find a similar unit which came on a few diff models in the 92 to 94 era.

Before you start monkeying around, I'd suggest you post on why you want to disassemble the mirror. If it's not working, you can access the connectors on the inboard side of the assembly and disconnect and troubleshoot the mirrors there first.

Repost with some more info and good luck. Keep in mind the assembly is plastic with a little, but not a lot of stretch.
