repairing 200/700/900 series plastics, c. 1990

I've had problems with the plastic on a 1987 740 turbo wagon. I tried superglue and 2 part epoxy didn't work too well.
I just used Loctite 406 it worked! The draw back it's not cheap.
As long as you have all the bits you can wet and dry (1200 grit) the repaired seam after glueing.
