Jack up the rear and .... 200

Hi.

Aside from looking for a metal tag (which I presume you've already done - "...I've not noticed any markings...."), try this.

Jack up the rear of the car (lift it with a floor jack on the bottom of the differential -- don't lift the antisway bar). Then turn one of the rear wheels....

1) if the other wheel (on the other side) turns the same way (i.e., both rear wheels roll forward), you've got a limited slip.

2) if the other wheel turns the opposite way (i.e., one rolls forward, the other rearward), you've got an open (ordinary) differential -- or a completely blown LSD :-).
